SCHS is a not-for-profit organisation which commenced operation in 1976 in Merbein, approximately 10km from Mildura.
SCHS takes a holistic approach to the needs of clients and the community with an emphasis on continuous quality improvement and excellence in service delivery based on the principles of collaborative primary care.

“This painting represents our culture, our land and our people. The centre of the painting represents black and white coming together and working as one. The four circle symbols represent the different community health services within the Sunraysia area. The weaving row of dots represents the Murray River which surrounds our community, and all the animals are those that are from this land."
“A fantastic piece of artwork, commissioned by local Aboriginal artist Sharon Kirby, depicting the collaboration between the two health services, now hangs in the foyer at Ramsay Court and will adorn any health publications produced from this program area.”
